Jesus Felt - We spent the first part of this year looking at where Jesus is in the midst of OUR circumstances, but what about Jesus’ circumstances? As we walk with Jesus during the season of Lent, we’re going to spend time considering what Jesus Felt: exhaustion, joy, anger, sadness, anxiety, loneliness. Jesus Felt, and for the next 7 weeks we will walk in solidarity with Jesus. What did Jesus feel? And what does that teach us about God? Or what does that teach us about what it means to be human?

statement of inclusion.
Journey at Christ Church is called to the ministry of reconciliation. We embrace, as a gift, the diversity of our neighborhood and the world. We celebrate our human diversity of age, education, ethnicity, faith history, gender identity, marital status, mental and physical ability, political view, race, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
We affirm that all people are created in the image of God, and, as beloved children of God, all are worthy of God’s love and grace. We welcome all people into participation in the life and ministries of Journey at Christ Church as we journey together toward Jesus.
We recognize that there are differences among us, but that we are more alike than we are different. We believe that we can love alike even though we may not think alike. We also believe that we are called to love each other, embracing our differences rather than excluding others because of them. We proclaim this statement of welcome to all who have known the pain of exclusion or discrimination in the church and society. We invite all people to join us in our faith journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect.
