Journey Church is now Journey at Christ Church. We have merged with a longer established church called Christ Church into one new church entity named Journey @ Christ Church. We are now located at 225 W. Bigelow in Findlay. Our site is being redesigned right now to reflect some of the changes that have been happening, so please bear with us. Journey @ Christ Church features two different styles of worship with a traditional servie at 9:00 am and a postmodern gathering at 11:00 am with a variety of opportunities between the two worship gatherings. Our goal has been to complement, improve, and spring forward in more effective ministry to our community through this transition. While honoring the tradition of years past, we still place a high value on a relaxed atmosphere, opportunity for dialog and searching, artistic expression, etc.
We're excited about how this will enable us to reach out to the community, make an impact in people's lives, as well as launch some new ministries that we have been thinking about for a long time. Two of those ministries include a ministry with pregnant teens to help ensure healthy moms, healthy pregnancies, healthy babies, and moms graduating from school while offering life skills and support systems. We also hope to launch a creative arts ministry for kids in our community, free of charge, as an opportunity for mentoring and creative thinking.
Come along with us during this transition. It might seem daunting to get involved when things seem chaotic, but God just may be asking you to get involved in something bigger than you or me. Don't just go to church, be a part of something bigger!
