The Psalms were the song book of the Jewish faith, and today it remains a poetic collection of the experiences of humankind across time. Expressing the joy of God’s work, the anguish of a people forgotten, or the prayers of thanks, despair, or tragedy, this collection of writings remains as a voice of our hearts even today. In this 4-week series we will explore the various genres of writings gathered in the Psalms and how they speak to, and for, us today.
