Roots & Fruits

The Bible was written in an agrarian culture where life and death were determined by nature and a strong yield of crops. It makes sense, then, that this imagery of roots and growth made its way into much of the scriptures as a metaphor for the spiritual life. In this 4-week series we will take a look at the importance of putting down roots as a determining factor of bringing forth fruit in our spiritual lives.
